Created in honour of my Northwest Coast heritage and the people who came before me, this basket is a celebration of connection, resilience, and belonging. The deep red pine needles are woven together with black artificial sinew and accented with abalone shell buttons, bringing together colours and materials that reflect the beauty and strength of the Northwest Coast.
